Naturist Beaches
Tradition of nude swimming in the Adriatic goes back to the year 1936 when British king Edward VIII went skinny-dipping at Kandorala Beach on the island of Rab. Most popular naturist destinations in Croatia are at the same time also places with the longest tradition of nude swimming – even today Rab Island continues to attract more and more visitors every year and has the status of the best naturist spot in Croatia.
Since besides nude swimming naturists also try to live in harmony with nature and appreciate clean air, outdoor activities, recreation and healthy food, naturist destinations are constantly working to improve their offer and provide their guests with the best service possible. Although Istria and Kvarner have the greatest number of naturist beaches, Dalmatia also offers a lot of spots for a quality naturist experience.
In order to ease your search for naturist beaches in Croatia we bring you an overview of best nudist spots along the Adriatic Coast.
